GIVE IT TO ME hits TOP 5!
Jason just received the news that his new video “Give It To Me” is now TOP 5 on the CMT Chevy Cross Canada Countdown. This is Jason’s 4th TOP 5 video from his Make My Move Album! Be sure to keep requesting the song at your favourite country radio station as well. Jason is currently on tour with CMT ON TOUR, along with Tara Oram, The Higgins and Steven Lee Olsen, so be sure to get your tickets now!

Currently, Jason is getting ready to head back into the studio to begin recording the first few songs for a follow up CD to his highly successful record Make My Move. Fans can expect to hear the first single in late summer or early fall. The new music will include a very special song that Jason co-wrote with one of his musical heroes & guitar greats Steve Wariner! DART EVENTS ANNOUNCES SPRING TOUR
FEATURING: JASON BLAINE, TARA ORAM AND THE HIGGINS
(TORONTO – March 17, 2009) Country music’s hottest new acts, Jason Blaine, Tara Oram and The Higgins, were announced today as featured performers on DART Events’ upcoming Canadian spring tour. The ‘2009 CMT On Tour’ shows roll through venues from British Columbia to Nova Scotia, beginning May 27 in Kamloops, BC at the Sagebrush Theatre.
NEW VIDEO & SINGLE ON THE WAY FOR 2009!
This weekend JB will return to Saskatoon for the fourth time in two years to shoot yet another music video with award winning director Tony Hrynchuk of Fahrenheit Films. The collaboration has turned out back-to-back #1 CMT video’s with "Rock In My Book" and "Flirtin With Me" (late 2007) and a Top 5 favourite with "My First Car" (2008). Following "Good Day To Get Gone", a fourth Top 10 radio single released in September, "Give It To Me" will be the 5th single from the widely successful record Make My Move released on Koch Entertainment Canada. Fans can look forward to the debut of this seductive new single & video in mid February.
JB WRAPS 2008 WITH A BIG RED BOW
This debut Christmas single from JB was co-written with fellow Canadian singer/songwriter Tebey Ottoh who scored a Top 3 hit back in 2003 with “MAN TO MAN” on Sony/BMG. At the same time, “THAT’S WHAT I DO” was becoming the first Top 10 for JB. Coincidently, the two were nominated in the same category for country radio single of the year at the 2004 Canadian Music Awards but had never met.
“We met last year in town (Nashville) through friends at ole music publishing, but only actually sat down to write on November 20th. I had the idea to try to write a fun song in time for the holidays and Tebey was totally up for that. Together, we came up with BIG RED BOW on the Thursday and booked the session for Monday! I think we hit it off right from the get go because he has the same crazy fly-by-the-seat-of-your-pants, work-hard mentality that I do. He’s also just very talented. It was a fun, & we hope it brings some Christmas cheer to everyone for many Christmas’s to come.” Says Blaine.
